What to Expect When Calling 911
Stay calm and explain what is happening. Be ready to provide your location, phone number and important details about the emergency, and follow the instructions provided by the emergency call taker.

For police matters that do not require an immediate response, contact your local police non-emergency service. In Toronto, call 416-808-2222 or *TPS (*877) from a mobile phone.
